About the Challenge:

Conditions of Participation

From August 5, 2015 through to October 15, 2015, competition entries for the FORD SMART MOBILITY GAME CHALLENGE can be uploaded via the competition website. All entries will be reviewed and four concepts will be shortlisted by an expert, international jury to take part in the final prototyping round

In addition, one wild card place will be awarded to an individual or team at a one-day SMART MOBILITY HACKATHON during the ‘Clash of Realities’ conference in Cologne (November 2 - 4, 2015). The wild card will become the fifth finalist in the FORD SMART MOBILITY GAME CHALLENGE. The five challenge finalists will have until January 11, 2016 to realize their concepts and the jury will select three winning projects to be presented to an international audience of experts at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona on February 22, 2016.

Join us in the inspiring surroundings of the Cologne Game Lab (CGL) during the Clash of Realities conference or, if you're unable to visit, hack from home by participating online!

Good ideas often come through limited constraints and improvisation. During the SMART MOBILITY HACKATHON on November 2 – 3, your team will have three diversifiers to choose from and 30 hours to complete a concept.
